    BrahMos Cruise Missile

That's what defences journalists and others say . https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailyo.in/lite/variety/rafale-aircraft-brahmos-nuclear-defence/story/1/18157.html

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

The matter of fact you keep ignoring aero india 2019,go through the tweets and brochure where it is clearly stated that Su30 will be carrying 5 Brahmos ng,Lca mk1/1a will be carrying 2 brahmos while the rafales will be carrying 3(old brochures and articles). with 3re or even with 5,in a war zone...

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

Yes they are but with brahmos you're talking about the same at double the range you mentioned, and a Su30 can carry 12 aam which are needed to fired in salvo against a big asset ,while the same su can carry 5 Brahmos NG ,and still brahmos has better chances of killing one due to larger seeker...

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

You need a little correction, amraam dont travel at mach 4 throughout its flight(thats the launch speed) . Once motor burns out, it looses its speed along with its kinetic energy, while the brahmos missile ramjet burns through out its range at a cruise speed of mach 3, while the proposed variant...

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

You launch an avg a2a missile like k171, the missile will continue to loose kinetic energy and speed once its rocket motor burnsout.

Mach 3.5, 'sustained' longer than rocketmotor propulsion.

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

For avoiding radars in needed to fly at altitudes which avoid coming the missile in the aperture of the radar which makes impossible to fly 800kms. And at higher altitude ie above than the current 14km cruise altitude, which exposes the missile to IR detectors. BrahMos can't hide neither can...

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

Diff bw design to fly and actually flying, yeah that can be possible, need to fly at higher altitude than the specified, BrahMos need to cruise at higher altitude, thus exposing to modern Radar and IR devices. Sent from my Aqua Ace II using Tapatalk

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

Maintain the same Mach 3 speed for 800kms is impossible and if it's, then might need a barage of fuel tank along with it. Sent from my Aqua Ace II using Tapatalk

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

Hypersonic flights for vehicles, yeah everyone seem to be working on it, the question arises on which fuel those Scramjet work, US, IND, RUSSIA use Hydrocarbon fuel as well as hydrogen fuel, that's one advancement. Hypersonic missiles and at which stage it is hypersonic is more important. Sent...

800kms range, that means you can say good buy to all weather Mach 3-2.5 speed. Sent from my Aqua Ace II using Tapatalk

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

For out maneuvering any aircraft, a missile needs to perform 8 times more gees than the aircraft itself, no combat in 8 km altitude won't allow an aircraft to make 8g or high angle of attack. Sent from my Aqua Ace II using Tapatalk

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

That not correct truly. At sea level any missile from all over the world is a mere wvr, the range depends on the altitude, and the range say 100kms is the distance bw the target and the source, once the missile is fired, missile is traveling at certain speed towards the target and target towards...

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

Mk2 or I say acc to Indian gov Astra NG, and that will have 100kms of range against maneuverable targets not stationary. And with stationary I mean relative speed is near zero Sent from my Aqua Ace II using Tapatalk

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

No escape zone is the area where the missile can't be out run by the target, but it can out maneuver the missile. Astra has around 30-35kM No escape zone where the target can't out run the missile. Sent from my Aqua Ace II using Tapatalk

The NEZ of Astra with indigenous seeker is about 35kms. Astra has offbore capability of 45 degrees at present. Sent from my Aqua Ace II using Tapatalk

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

That's what I said, GPS keeps on updating about the target, and INS corrects the flight path, terminal seeker then engages, and when you have a terminal seeker with range greater than 20km, the correction error negated with actual ISAR map. Sent from my Aqua Ace II using Tapatalk

    BrahMos Cruise Missile

The GPS continuously tracks the target or I say it updates the missile for the target's location, and if the target maneuvers the flight course is corrected by INS, when the target gets under the scan of head Seeker, GPS is not required then. Sent from my Aqua Ace II using Tapatalk
