That's the difference, I don't say what about like you, but point to the facts directly. That's why I can blame the government in charge, for bad deals or indecisiveness wrt the MMRCA requirement. Only people with no arguments use whataboutery. Yes indeed, becaue the lobbying is said to happen...

Bad deal by Congress in 1984??? Lol that's the excuse now for missing the requirements in 2015 as livefist shows too (requirement 126 / deal signed 36)? Whataboutery doesn't help IAF, no matter who and how, IAF needs more MMRCAs!

To make Rafale a winner? :biggrin2: Think about it logically, Dassault had issues even back in the initial stage of replying to the RFP. So that would have been the first chance to knock Rafale out, didn't happened. Shortlisting could had been the 2nd, L1 selection the 3rd, non compliance to...

Good look on operational loads during anti IS strikes and good to see France not running away from fighting IS and taking responsibility in the region.

Lol, they messed up a major deal in Brazil, because of poor ToT proposal and high costs, although Brazilian government was pro France at the time. They messed up a major deal in the UAE, because they proposed an unworkable commercial offer. They messed up the MMRCA, because they wanted their...

Even the NDA government admits that the MMRCA was cancelled because of Dassaults non compliance to the RFP, but people that want to remain in denial, of course prefer to close their eyes on facts.

Wrong, since IAF itself stated that 36 are not enough and since IAF itself stated that they wanted an MMRCA deal, not necessarily Rafale, just as IAF itself stated that they wanted the single engine MMRCA RFI, not MMRCA 2.0. So the facts on the ground of what IAF wanted and what the government...

My problem in fact is Dassault aviation, who held India hostage for 3 years and made it impossible for UPA and NDA to sign the MMRCA deal. The outcome of that, was a bad Rafale deal and since you seem to follow me, you surely can learn a lot of facts about it.

Congress is complaining about Rafale because an election is coming. BJP complained about the same Rafale in 2013 as well and for the same political reasobs, that's the sorry state of Indian politics. Sadly this political war, distracts from the real problems with the deal and there are plenty of...

On the contrary, I was one of the first who called out the inconsistencies in the early reports on the SC judgements and was proven right at the end. The whole SC issue was just a big waste of time, since we know now, that they haven't looked into any of the issues the petitioners raised, based...

You are right about the FOC dates, but wrong about not using those Rafales until FOC is achieved. Prime example for that is LCA, which currently is inducted by IAF in IOC standard and they are far less capable than Rafale IOC will be. In A2A roles, IAF might induct it right away, since if at...

First Rafales are planned to be delivered from Sept 2019 onwards, however, the ISE part, will most likely only added in India, just as we did with Mirage 2000. Dassault delivers IOC versions, we bring them to FOC standard. Will be interesting though, who will be responsible for that this time...
