    fact is we are not too optimistic but we were too underconfident and under funded to carry on any project like mwf or amca but now govt has ample funding lined up for those projects ,r&d is swiftly running , earlier we didn't even pay attention towards plaaf ,not because we were too optimistic...

    the biggest thing about plaaf is the info that comes out of china is strictly controlled by ccp so comparing their planes in terms of availability,ew or radar capabilities is skeptical

    i agree that j10c is not as bad as someone wud portray and numerical superiority is also true but "Chinese pilots are pretty well trained" is doubtfull

    yes they are not upto the western level but they are not as bad as chinese ones (i mean they are not sub standard), but still su 57 is more of a stealth killer ,with k77 and l band ew arrays with full of radars it can be worthy (more of a jugadu f22)
