People only think that 125 mm gun can fire fsapds rounds , lol. These guns have specialised ammo just for bunkers and general targets , fsapds is primarily anti tank weapon.

India right now needs thousands of missiles and field artillery . Massed weapons will always devastate enemy , who would know this better than us ? Since ancient times we have thrown men at enemy in huge numbers, its better we have artillery too in huge numbers.

Oh really, tanks are mobile artillery if nothing else. Having a tank gives psychological advantage as well . Plus thye have sheer firepower enough to wipe out a large village completely.

What i have inferred from past readings of this thread is Russians took us for a ride very badly. We manufacture own armour steel for t 90 tanks, the sights are there well and good. The only issue is aps , Apu, more comprehensive era, new tank gun which can endure pressure above 650...
