My understanding, which is limited, is that Kali Yuga itself has 4 stages in it. Each successive stage gets shorter and shorter until Kali Yuga itself ends. We are entering the first Kali Yuga of the Kali Yuga, then we enter the second Satya Yuga of the Kali Yuga and go through the cycle again...
