If the terms are favorable, absolutely. We need the planes for sure, but these are ultimately 2nd hand so don't overpay for them. Beyond a certain price, it would just be better to build more LCA's.

I seriously think that as part of increasing aircraft numbers, and freeing up better assets for more important missions, India should really look into taking the BAE Hawk - giving it a good ground attack loadout + making it more survivable, and mainly using that for CAS, along with Jaguars...
