Without imperfection, there won't be any benchmark for perfection. Without unhappiness, you wouldn't even know what happiness feels like. In the end, its all related to Karma.

Bunch of BS is a matter of perspective. To the illiterate, science is a bunch of crap.

Understood. I like the question raised here "can a 2D creature understand a 3D world?" Puts things in perspective. I guess the only way to know is by actually attaining Niravana. Like @OneGrimPilgrim said, this question should be pointed inwards introvertly. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

Just like it exists now. Umm.. Brahman / God? My point being, before the universe and such there was, is and always will be Brahman. What about its existence? As Gita says, Atma/Soul is a part of Brahman and has always existed and will always exist. Nothing can destroy it. If it has always...

The point makes sense when you are thinking of time only as an entity in this world. Why not think about the time before this world was created? What was before this world? Surely an entity of time or something similar to time must have existed before this world was created?

There are other ways. Kshatriyas at the time of Mahabharata achieved moksha through karma yoga, not meditation.

@Ancient Indian He who knows me as his own divine Self breaks through the belief that he is the body and is not reborn as a separate creature. Such a one is united with me. Delivered from selfish attachment, fear, and anger, filled with me, surrendering themselves to me, purified in the fire...

Karma is also one route. Where in you just perform your daily tasks and do not crave for returns. Also, devote all the tasks you do to god. And yes, Gita does say about your sub-conscious mind becoming one with the eternal through meditation. I will post the shloka here if I find it now.

What are you talking about? Every scripture including Bhagwat Gita mentions this. When you meditate, your subconscious mind becomes one with "god" or "brahman". When they become one, you experience eternal bliss.

This is what the meditation is for. It helps you concentrate and control your senses. If you practice it daily, your will learn to control your senses and hence emotions. Letting go will be easier as you go forward. Then comes the stage of merging with the brahman.

Yes but you doñt just merge with the eternal with a 1 time meditation. You have to practice it daily and increase the time frame. Once you truly merge, then you become eternally one and e5ernally happy. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

I remember this one time when I sat meditating for over half an hour. When I came out of it, I felt happy. I didn't even know the reason. But I felt pure happiness and was smiling for the next 2 hours just by the experience of it. So that gives me an idea when scriptures talk about eternal...

If I am Brahman itself, I should already have all the answers I need. Why don't I? I shouldn't have the need to understand how brahman works or how this world works.
