Soldiers should be professionals. And controllable sociopaths makes no sense. You are a sociopath because you can't be controlled. You want that kind of person back in society???

M4 SOPMOD block 2. Copy of the Daniel defence free floated handguard. Widely used by SOCOM. Their go to gun in fact. Though they would be using a BCM Gunfighter buttstock.

Yeah. They are using an M4 sopmod block 2 chassis without even an optic. Why spend the money to upgrade it then? And dude, no self respecting 'SF' unit would be wearing bright blue for fuck's sake 🤣. Wtf is that even meant for? Hiding in water?

A similar incident happened in 2018. A Shin Bet recon team (a Mista'aravim unit, probably Yamas) entered Gaza strip and killed 7 hamas terrorists in Khan Yunis including a commander but were compromised. One soldier lost his life. Third season of TV series Fauda is loosely based on this. This...

Imo, CIT X and J have been reconstituted. It makes no sense to have kept it shut down after gujral was gone. They may have even reached their the same level of capability as when they were disbanded now. Agree on the BLA part. Bold: no sir, what happened?

This may not be the most appropriate thread, but... Israelis (a Mista'aravim unit, probably Duvdevan, since Yamas comes under Shin Bet) assassinated Abu Md al-Masri, AQ no.2 was killed by Israelis ON THE STREETS OF TEHRAN, IRAN...

No, there are electronic ones as well. They filter out loud noises like explosions, bullets etc., but also relay ambient noise to your ear. I.e. you can hear your teammates. Works on AAA batteries.

Only for real VVIPs who are likely to get targeted. US used Delta for General Norman Schwarzkopf, who was very likely to be targeted by enemy forces in Iraq. Otherwise, they also probably use MPs. A little off topic, but SAS is not an exclusively SMU, operators do the job of both 'Assymetric...

Those are meant for training. They are laser detection devices, on the helmet cover. Can be used elsewhere also, but primarily worn on the helmet. Used where live ammo can't be used, such as CQB drills etc. So they are useless in the battlefield. But they do make training easier. I Don't think...
