    INSAS Rifle, LMG & Carbine

hard to say from potato quality pic, but you can see faint details of ;signature rivet-build receiver of INSAS; there, so most likely it's Excalibur Mk-1 that came out as next version of Excalibur i.e. this on right side, refer to quoted pic on the other hand, Mk-1C Excalibur had milled...

G36 one is also drop free pattern magazine, they just use paddel pattern magazine lock to hold the magazine in place and mag well shape is much tighter so there are little to no chance of magazine moving around/wobbling and dropping out due to that, there is no front locking tab on G36 magazine...

just watch video in maximum slow-mo possible and observe yourself, i still think it's a stovepipe or some other jam... this is the frame where it occured and it stays same way even after some more frames, also note the position of the bolt carrier in this pic, it has already passed the end of...

    INSAS Rifle, LMG & Carbine

ah no he's just pointing at common scenario of using full powered rifle bullet for both machine gun and sniper/dmr applications; and based on that his offering of .338 calibre rifle and machine gun and so, and that also is logical-practical etc...reason why there is this newfound interest in the...

    INSAS Rifle, LMG & Carbine

well 🤷‍♂️ in interview with Livefest he himself put forth the point of having common ammunition for gpmg and sniper rifles that .338 lapua magnum could become, and now talking about .338 norma magnum machine gun, 'specially when he offered that Sabre rifle in .338 lapua magnum hhmm  what...

    INSAS Rifle, LMG & Carbine

Yes! you see the AK-12 style front trunnion on JVPC and OFB 5.56mm Carbine ? exact reason to what am trying to say, i.e. keeping as less 'stuff' on the barrel as possible (albeit both design still incorporates handguard locking on the iron sight post etc that is affixed on barrel but still...

    INSAS Rifle, LMG & Carbine

Now with these posts (and previous ones in past on AK front trunnion + iron sight block + free-floating of AK etc etc) i almost have cleared some basic requirements of making AK a free-floating pattern rifle, that is to edit the way gas tube is mounted on the rifle (via that iron sight block)...

    INSAS Rifle, LMG & Carbine

Why not,in fact many, but most of them involves mounting those handguards directly on the front trunnion of the AK itself, via screws or rivets etc - so some modification part is there, and once affixed it would be hard to take them off on field level field strip-disassembly tasks, then some of...

    INSAS Rifle, LMG & Carbine

Yeah but some corrections, FAB Upgrade kit that we saw on INSAS wasn't done on INSAS LMG but regular 1B variant, LMG one has quite many differences that one can't simply affix 1B pattern handguards on it, am also doubtful about buttstock, so yeah, the kit was there but it was for 1B INSAS, ALSO...

    INSAS Rifle, LMG & Carbine

Hhmm i seriously wonder if the barrle on this "Mark 1" version of OFB 7.62mm Sniper Rifle is free-floating one or not, it may not look like so at first glance but there is a slight clearance/gap between stock and the barrel at front end of the stock so maybe it's free floating ? something like...

    INSAS Rifle, LMG & Carbine

Lo and Behlod! We were thinking that there is this OFB 5.56x45mm Carbine out there, then there is OFB Trichy based 7.62x39mm Carbine out there (copy of Bulgarian AR-M1's carbine variant,of course) and so. BUT now we have INSAS Excalibur MK.1C based "Carbine" out there from Rifle Factory...
