Well that is the general method of testing long range missile in short range test area. But your point about cruise missile is valid. So now is the question what was the trajectory that they tested? Also tested bramhos Extended range doesn't mean always testing for full range it is still...

We do want them to track missiles in full trajectory. They must know what we are capable of that is how deterrence works. Unlike Porkistan where they themselves don't know how and when they got mijjiles:biggrin2:

Not necessarily what is required is to check parameters. If trajectory is accurate in short range it will work full range too in principle. Only some full range tests are necessary . Also warning needs to be issued for costal areas and shipping routes into deep ocean satellite monitoring is enough
