This is such a criminal assumption on your part USA has already tried them on Apache and their future helis will sport them. https://www.defensenews.com/2017/06/26/us-army-tests-laser-on-apache-helicopter/

It will be derivative of IMRH just like LCH is of Dhruva.

The engine is same as Dhruva derated as more power wasn't required plus range. It's already very strong can pull double the empty weight of it's own. Mi Hind is actually replaced by Rudra though as basically both are tasked to carry troops with firepower. Apache and LCH are our first true...

There have been updates NASAM is sort of cancelled or put on hold over price and perhaps we will be waiting for USA election to conclude. So that approval is on hold . Same is going on with the Reaper/Predator drones. But it seems now we are going ahead with 2 each for tri service let's see...

It's cleared for possible sale to be part of Integrated Air defense of India as we requested for around 1.9 bn dollar deal but not paid from our side yet. The article says C8 that's 120 D so I think that's the main difference ...

Those have very small range ( 500m -1km ) and weigh 3 kg one can carry its whole system in backpack as they weight 14-15 kg , will be used extensively in urban/ant terror warfare too. They are like small flying bombs. I don't remember exactly but I think 500 will be procured.

Are there any photos with stingers at all ? I'll take IAF chief statement as proof. Apart from the fact all weapons (except laser pod I guess) are available for India whether we buy them or not has nothing to do with Apache capabilities.

Who said No A2A they can fire AIM 9 sidewinder mounted on wingtip or we can use air to air stinger. Though I think we will be using Stinger and not sidewinder will have to check and ask someone to confirm. Apart from that they carry a 30mm cannon can take out them like flies. It's nit as easy...

Actually No , he was talking abt Dhruva . Regarding LCH , It was designed for high altitude operation as per army requirements. All helis these days operate air to air missiles too Mistral , Stinger etc. As they are cost effective measure than sending a Sukhoi to get a drone down. So it's...

Compare the cost of ALH like capable helicopter vs the same in international market and how much job that imported product will create in India . While we can get a Dhruv at less than 5 mn a piece an imported one will cost 10-15 mn with additional expense on repair and longer downtime . Even...

Because it didn't needed that much thrust, it's not underpowered. ALH Dhruv definitely can definitely gain from a more fuel efficient high power engine though.
