If it uses 1200 GaAs T/R Modules then imagine how much in GaN based AESA. DRDO has advanced a lot in GaN based tech.

783 in LCA Tejas, maybe 950-1000 in AMCA if GaAs is used.

Adding it is no difficult task, plus it is not into production, only prototype hence its obvious once it goes into production, it will use Radar absorbant materials.

    Korean KF-X Fighter Program

Yes, it is possible. But then why did he say 2053 smh. But still F-35 is not a medium weight aircraft like AMCA, FC-31 or KF-21. F-35’s weight is more than an F-15, so it can easily accomodate this much T/R Modules, else why did USA Ban ToT of F-35 Radar to S. Korea if it is not GaN based? GaN...

    Korean KF-X Fighter Program

GaN based, its nosecone is already thicc, it can accomodate that much, although I doubt his claim as 2053 is a prime number, which is not divisible by 4, hence how many Q-T/R Module racks it uses is doubtful.

AMCA will have 1500+ in GaN based AESA Radar, actually F-35’s GaAs Radar has 1200 T/R Modules, a dude from Lockheed Martin on a blog said that GaN based Radars are already being operationally used on F-35 and has 2053 T/R Modules.
