Doesn't matter if it achieve its purpose of sowing doubt in mind of US which it did successfully after 2019 when it was demonstrated to them.

    Hypersonic Missiles

I have dealt with many block heads over here. But you are the ultimate. One should crown you for that. You have zero idea on how Indian Military works and you are saying that I am insulting them? I am just stating the facts and yes we have some limitations and have to work within those...

    Hypersonic Missiles

I think you are suffering from serious block head. When it is a well known fact that India don't have the luxury and can't afford to carry out individual user trial and developmental trial all the time, you are bringing in the same illogical (in context of India) content time and time again. New...

    Hypersonic Missiles

Remember when I once said that even in deployed state all our missiles are in developmental phase and with each and every tests we do test one component or other? Composite motor was first tested in A$, if I am not wrong, and now all of A series does use composite motor. Maraging steel was...

    Hypersonic Missiles

You mean to say that during Soviet era, a static burnout of 500 seconds have been achieved? And still countries like US and China are struggling with 20 sec burnout? I would not even count India, who had achieved the burnout with a 1:16 scale model.

    Hypersonic Missiles

What is the burnout rate achieved by Zircon in test? Most of hypersonic test till date had achieved a burnout of 15 to 20 sec. At M 6 it would mean covering a distance of 50 km at best. Since Zircon has been termed as CM, so it means it does have a air breathing ScramJet engine as opposed to...

Hypersonic Glide Vehicle..... Thats what I am saying. ISRO has build up the hypersonic test tunnel and its not only to test the reentry of the RLV. :):)

    Hypersonic Missiles

But it would not be hypersonic for the whole range, or would it be? Because at Mach 6 it would travel at nearly 2 km/sec and for 1000 km it can't sustain a burnout of 500 seconds. So it is more of a Supersonic+ Hypersonic variant I believe.

    Hypersonic Missiles

Actually India had already done more then one static burn test of 20 sec. But a real flight test for 20 sec would be much more challenging. You would be proud to know that India is the only country who has been able to achieve a burnout of 20 sec in multiple tests, although all are static, but...
