It should be 8 of those trucks with 4 canisters in each. 8×4 =32 missiles. Remember it is said to be capable of engaging 36 or something targets at a time.

I think that's for ballistic missiles. For fighter jets/cruise missiles it's another two missiles with 120 ane 40 km range.

Question is not about the capability or need of a BMD but about buying a foreign system at this point of time when our own systems are getting ready.
