The closest example of these Jakarta type CBDs being replicated in India that comes to my mind is the GIFT city of Gandhinagar and Hyderabad CBD & Financial Corridor of Hyderabad but these areas are pretty much under construction.

The thing is that Mumbai doesn’t have one main CBD that these cities have where entirety of development is concentrated. Instead it has many areas like BKC, Lower Parel-Worli, Nariman Point, Powai etc

Redevelopment have been taking place at rapid pace in Mumbai especially in areas like Lower Parel and Worli. Just look at difference in construction between 2015 and 2023
