Mig 29K is not being replaced by TEDBF. Both are different fighters and will serve on different type of carriers.

Additional 57 fighters are for INS Vishal or IAC 2. If TEDBF goes ahead, program to procure additional 57 fighters will be cancelled. Mig 29k will not be replaced by either TEDBF or additional 57 fighters. Mig 29k is STOBAR while both these fighters are CATOBAR.
