    Active switching of frequency occurs also in a narrow band,so that also is not a solution unless you have reduced your radius of operation (range) further......

    Reduced power also has higher side lobes,so all these Pakis thumping of range 170km,it won't be any greater than what it is already on KLJ7 but with other aesa advantages....Air cooling in first place for a fighter type Radar itself suggests that chini are taking care of Pakis with a lollypop.

    Half of the development price was paid by china. They didnt designed this aircraft complementing their tactics ,but their designed their tactic dependent upon what ever they got ....;-)
