Technically you can make any current gen firearm in this round, AKs...AR-15s....AR-18 pattern one like FN SCAR...anything. ^aftermarket "kit" to convert a standard SCAR-16 into 6.5 Grendel one, a barrel, a bolt and a slightly curved version of STANAG

Better move ahead with 6.5mm Grendel which is open standard and in some way better than 6.8mm Remington, here is a comparison chart for 5.56 vs 6.8 vs 6.5 and so

Tell me is your source for It's an INSAS mag extended 30 round yada yada is this video ? Then both of you are wrong, It's not INSAS magazine because INSAS one is a Kalashnikov-pattern Nose-In-Rock-Back pattern magazine, how could you even fix an AK pattern magazine as it is inside an AR...

This reminds me, @[email protected] you told about OFB taking initiative of making an R-2 equivalent version from that SG553 chhap 5.56mm Carbine, i.e. R-2 with section-ed receiver or something, could you provide a source of this please, as this seems like a step in right direction, if it succeeds...

A thing just crossed my mind, Say, If army was going to select SIG-offered AR-10 in direct impingement anyway after going through plethora of different options, while also trying to get a carbine in 5.56 NATO, then, why didn't they select Colt CM901 that was offered to us 🤷‍♂️ i mean they...

So far so good, apart from using it as an LMG Army also uses it like makeshift DMR with OFB made 4x scope and so, has got thicker-heavier barrel than INSAS, receiver also has reinforcements on trunnions (not exactly like RPK but strengthened yes), full-auto trigger (of AK47 pattern) than 3-round...

Yes, till mid-1960s Bulgarians were mostly dependent on other Eastern Bloc allies for weapons, notably Poland which started producing their own AK-47 of type-3 pattern around same time named PMK, Around late 50s-Early 60s they got license+ToT+Assitance of all from from USSR to manufacture...

Well how old gen Kalashnikov could blame Bulgarians when as part of Warsaw Pact they received ToT for Kalashnikovs from the daddy USSR ? like others under warsaw-pact they were free to make their own AKs and post breakup of whole circus they continued to do so.

MRF-91 here is a stamped sheet receiver-ed rifle, most likely a copy of AKM(this one seems copy of S-version, underfolding buttstock) and ones shown by Kunal Dada was milled recever,Type-3 pattern AK, most probably a Bulgarian one i believe because well they are one of the remaining guys out who...

    Small arms and Light Weapons

Regarding AK-7, I also believe that the one shared by Kunal dada isn't the actual rifle from OFB but just Bulgarian one, most probably AR-M1 or so. Also i believe that this said rifle with gas regulator on it is just another Godzilla, it's misinformation, and i shall give my reasoning for that...
