What is the MTOW of the Tejas in cold weather? Say from Leh? And what are the stores and fuel capacity in that config?

In bizzaro world there is a similar thread. It is called JF-17. According to them, it is also the best warplane ever built. FYI I too think Tejas is a good aircraft in its class.

Multi-role perhaps but it has no staying power and tiny weapons payload. At least the mk-1. Below 1 hr flying time?

I am sure that will stop when indian weapon development is at par with prevailing trends.

the Rafale is obviously not the issue so is there another platform which the IAF has in mind and is biding its time for?
