Lol russia doesnt even classify that as an aircraft carrier. Its a cruiser capable of carrying aircraft.

They might buy fa 18 if they envision a conflict happening before tedbf gets deployed, so they can have some sort of competent aircraft. If no conlict in siight, then buy mig 29k and manage.

If they go for single seats only, then I support rafale. If they buy twin seat too, as RFI says, then FA18 is the way.

Hopefully they get a few growlers too, would love to have a few in the mix

Id prefer Fa-18 if we ask for double seaters, having 8 jets for carrier operations that cant actually operate on a carrier would be weird.
