    I remember reading about a family of bombs and guidance kits DRDO had developed, but AFAIK those were general purpose bombs and not dedicated penetrator warheads.

    Bunker busting bombs used by infantry? That would be the Carl Gustaf's HEAT round capable of penetrating a meter of concrete.

    Ok, I'll make a new thread on that, but my option is of a Kargil level limited conflict initiated by our side. Once done, i'll tag you in it :) Most important part, my strategy has an end game, although the operation itself might be extremely difficult.

    Problem is the civilians on their side. There are heavily built-up areas through which LoC cuts across. We can't very well shell these civilian buildings and give them a ton of propaganda ammo. And our civilians are not prepared for the arty response we most certainly will receive from their side.

    We attack with 155mm, they reply with 88/122/130/155/203mm + propaganda. Escalation without a set aim is not a good option IMHO. All we end up doing is killing their cannon fodder and loosing more of our troops.

    The terrain feature behind which LNk Praveen Thakur and Rfn Abhay Singh are hiding is not visible. More recent versions of these have that capability AFAIK.
