Compare this with This Blunt nose shape via a nose cap maybe for aerodynamic reasons , there are several advantages eg high drag blunt nose shape in high supersonic missiles minimises the heat transfer by creating a shock wave ( also reduces deformation due to shear , stress which might...

Possible I am thinking removed the wings for aerodynamic testing as a control model and then test again with wings.

You did a excellent job , On a after though I feel the foldable wings in the rear are not same as the one on the line diagram in some of the pics . It's is a perfect trapezoid IMO. The pics below are correct , and also nice work on the nose cap. Again thanks for the pics , you did a very good...

Would have loved to see one too , imagine a 6.2 ton missile with a 1 ton warhead hitting a ship at hypersonic speeds of mach 7. But there are technological hurdles on our side to overcome , eg how do you provide navigational updates to the missile moving at mach 7 . Also too much heat generated...

    New DRDO projects

Long time back when the SLS pictures were released , I had speculated in the DRDO thread that these launchers are under deck launchers with integrated below deck reloading system. Many refuted my assertion. If one expands the picture above ( HMI panel for the SLS floating range ) and notes...

In hindi it is written as Nirbhay AL-01( somebody confirm it , my hindi is weak ) so it might mean air launched-01, air launched version ( prototype 1 ) of Nirbhay most possibly.

The army had recommended some modifications after trials , so if the modifications have been done and tested then it's pretty much ready for production and deployment.
