I take it you dont want US for UNSC seat or any of it military technologies or to be included in the high tech dual tech permitted list it has or intelligence on terror networks, its investments in India, it push to have India accepted by NSG suppliers, its alliance on south china se, its free trade agreements etc etc...why would you with a genocidal supporter like the US?

America is doing all these things to get money from INDIA to be invested in its junk research. It is not doing to develop INDIA, rather it is doing this to make INDIA poor.

One should always learn from history! I m in no way against the US, but one should introspect. The USA have in the past attacked the very regimes that they help build, also regimes that they have supported in the past. Remember Sadam ?

They also show that Nixon administration kept arming Pakistan despite having imposed an embargo on providing both Islamabad and New Delhi military hardware and support.
From the article, we can see that USA doesn't practice what it preaches. Is it going to be a hurdle to the present Indo-US relations ?

Yes,we survived with all those discriminate regimes against us, once you realized that you can not stop our country from growing, you are trying to ally with us. If you are all so powerful then go ahead put all sanctions against us, who is stopping you.

No. Times change, priorities change. India and US have a lot to gain from each other. It would be a mistake on India's part to keep it hostage to history

I am a firm believer in the future of strong Indo-US relationship. But what if USA backtracks in its relationship with India. They have done the very same thing in the past.

Another case reference, during the late 70's and early 80's the USA placed an arms embargo against Republic of China, which we all know that it supported very well.

If there comes a situation when both the Chinese and Pukes ask for an arms embargo or something on the same line towards India ? What then ?

I know I am repeating myself but ...
America could not tolerate a planet with 2 super powers in it. They will do everything possible to put down India and China in the coming years. But yeah Jay here has all that covered.

JayATL and nitesh seems to be in foul mood today.

India does need all those things forty years after 1971. The news column being discussed is 40 years before.

American did support Pakistan as it suited their interests. Deployment of seventh fleets was to scare India on use of Nucs. Three battalions of Marines was meant to evacuate beseiged American and Pakistan assets in Bangladesh.

Those were cold war days.

Even today Amirkhans conduct regular studies how they would employ their forces in India in contingencies. Nothing wrong in it. When India grows in stature, Indians will also start thinking of employing their Marines to help out Americans on mainland.
Take it easy boys !

I am little perplexed to be seen painted in "foul mood", what wrong have I said that US tried it's best to save a genocidal regime?

Why such threads are coming out more frequently these days. I recon people are trying to make some point after 40 years when the world moved out of cold war era. Scolding USA is not going to help India now. Bygones are bygones.

Don't act too smart. Be in your limits before you talk ill about some one. By your views it is clear that you are pro-American and Anti-Indian. Please shut-up and don't compare DFI with other forums. It is a waste of time make a comparison between DFI and other forums.

MODS should take care of this DFI member who goes with the name JayATL. He has no moral and does not know how talk and debate. Comparison of DFI with other forums is not allowed and he is doing it. Please, I request the MODS to look into this matter.

Well Mr. JayATL I am not ignorant, rather it is you who is arrogant like the pakistanis. I think you are a member of some pak-forum who has come to DFI to defame DFI and its members. No one has ever made statements in the manner you are making. In another thread you were provoking Messaih. Think you are out of your mind.
