I didn't know either for this. I know for 505 in Zeljava airport, but never knew that Tito had ability to run the Yugoslav space program.
Yugoslavia was a strong US ally, especially after 1948.
Everyone here knew that Serbian general Draza Mihajlovic and Serbian people saved 513 US airmen in WWII. After US and UK backstabbing (they went to Tito and sold Draza), Tito sentenced Draza to death by hanging. Tito was sitting on 2 chairs between Western allies and Russia.
From our history I've learned that US government cannot be trusted, neither Russian government but at least they didn't bomb us.
I'm talking about governments.
