In flight entertainment system

Baggage allowance( biggest Indian problem)

Last but not least airport facilities and waiting time for next flight

personally i avoid Air-india and all Americans airline.

JET airways is good but their planes are old and some of the inflight TV's are not working ,seats are worn out, recliner don't work etc etc but food is good, staff is good, baggage allowance is 35 kilos per person.

Been to British airways and Lufthansa but they r ok ok in all terms

I like Emirates the most ,it is good. Their planes are new, good inflight entertainment system,Quality of food is good, only problem is stay at Dubai airport 4 hours and 7 hours to way back, too much with small kids and more over Dubai airport is full of Indian and pakistan workers who always occupied toilets and only airport in the world i have seen Indian type toilet seats lolllllllllllllllllllll:taunt::taunt:

IndiGo

Type of Aircraft
Any thing is fine...Even if it is tataiyya aircraft :)

In flight entertainment system
I always keep a book handy. Inflight entertainment is an unwanted distraction.

Baggage allowance( biggest Indian problem)
20 kg is standard, fine with me.

Sexy air hostess and their dresses
I don't care even if they are transgenders. The plane should land properly and I should reach home in one piece

Food
I always have home made paratha. Low cost airlines usually server high cost food :p

Last but not least airport facilities and waiting time for next flight
IndiGo, I have observed, reaches before the scheduled time and offer cheapest tickets.

In International, I traveled via Emirates, Lufthansa, Alitalia, Air France, Ryan Air, KLM, Air India, TAP Portugal, easyJet, Northwestern, Berlin Airlines etc and I must say Emirates is on the top. It has better service, better inflight entertainment, better food, cheaper air fares and better Air-hostesses.

In domestic I travelled via Deccan, Kingfisher, Kingfisher Red, Spice Jet, Go Air, Indigo, Jet Lite and I must say that I had good experience overall with KF (before current fiasco), Indigo and JetLite were better. Indigo is the best in terms of on time performance.

Singapore airlines.

In India I travel by Duronto AC First. It is better than any airlines!

If time is at a premium, it is Indigo!

Worse is Bangaldesh Biman since they pray in the aisle when it is prayer time!

Did you not pick this thread from my forum?

On topic - Who do you include in major Western airlines? Don't most transit through Dubai, so even passengers from India fly there and not directly.

Among domestic Jet is the best. It might have older planes, no inflight entertainment or male stewards but they are most professional and caring.

Among international airlines, Emirates wins hands down on almost all aspects.

Domestic I prefer Jet as I was their Platinum Frequent Flyer member, almost 3/5 flights used to get bumped up. Recently got bumped up to Business on Delhi-Hong Kong, went sleeping all the way.

For international, my first choice would be Singapore Air. Have not travelled by Emirates but have heard rave reviews about it.

Even u came from other form isn't .:p:p:p

Anyhow on topic, major western airline includes all American airlines, KLM, British airways, Air france, Lufthansa,Swiss, finnair,Qantas,Singapore etc etc do any of these fly to Pakistan???

pls dont consider Dubai as part of ur country.

fact is Pakistanis around the world are forced to use either PIA and few arab airlines. Infact PIA is the only airline which comes directly from UK or europe and standard of PIA is well known fact.

BTW why PIA shows Bollywood movies on board?????:taunt::taunt:

Do u pay license fee to show our movies or jabardasti hi

I think many international airlines shut shop in Pakistan due to security situation and lack of passengers.
