At around noon today, two China Eastern Airline planes clipped wings at the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. If you are wondering how this kind of thing could possibly happen, well, we have no clue.
According to Sohu, Flight MU2153 had just arrived from Xi'an and was on its way to the gate when its right wing collided with the left wing of Flight MU2154 headed to the runway to take off for Xi'an.
No casualties were reported though both planes sustained slight damage. One passenger said that the collision felt like being in a car and "hitting a speed bump."
