Newly available pics of the Y20U tanker shows what seem to be modifications to the sponsons that house the aircraft's landing gear:

When compared to standard Y20A, Y20U has two refueling pods towards its wing tips and an unusual belly fairing speculated to be a third refueling station (Il78 has a third refueling pod on its vertical stabilizer instead)

RTA is still a decade away and the Chinese have already been building heavy lift tankers. There is absolutely no comparison there.
