Not in near future. Indian sport's future lies not in team sports like Hockey (due to weird historical baggage, prejudices & favoritism), but in individual sports.Even if they do who watches hockey anymore????
Let me know about the individual sports. Chess alone is popular. Tennis was as long as Sania was there. Not in near future. Indian sport's future lies not in team sports like Hockey (due to weird historical baggage, prejudices & favoritism), but in individual sports.
As a team, Indians are less than the sum of their individual selves (or individual worth or mettle).
On their own, each one is as good as they come.
Our sports have a better future than present. But, not in hockey, for reasons mentioned above.
A lot of Indians love and watch hockey.Even if they do who watches hockey anymore????
