Ejaz I think they know the location of all possible nuclear warhead storage sites.Pakistan is not as vast as Say US,Russia ,China or India and they do not have complete territorial control over their own country.So the most likely place where they store nukes are Punjab and Sindh.Targetting nukes means not simply the warheads but all the three ,warheads,triggers and the delivery vechicles bot h missiles and aeroplanes

What the author is referring to - denial and believing conspiracy theories- is what psychiatrists call as 'cognitive dissonance'.

What is Cognitive dissonance?. According to wikipedia

Cognitive dissonance is a discomfort caused by holding conflicting ideas simultaneously. The theory of cognitive dissonance proposes that people have a motivational drive to reduce dissonance. They do this by changing their attitudes, beliefs, and actions. Dissonance is also reduced by justifying, blaming, and denying.

In a state of dissonance, people may feel surprise, dread, guilt, anger, or embarrassment. People are biased to think of their choices as correct, despite any contrary evidence. This bias gives dissonance theory its predictive power, shedding light on otherwise puzzling irrational and destructive behavior.

I think this psychological phenomenon aptly describes the situation of Pakistanis. They are clinging to brainwashed ideas despite the contrary evidence available in bulk.
