To be honest , this is not an original idea.
When Saudi king Abdul Aziz heard about the idea ,he was surprised that the arabs were being punished for perfidies of the germans ,and demanded creation of Israel in Germany.
Why was Israel created in Palestine ?
Because it was the holy , indeed the promised land of the jews for over two thousand years.....
For over two thousand years , the jews used to greet each other by saying ,'' next year , jerusalem !! '' , thereby signalling their intention to one day reclaim their lost land.
Indeed ,the influx of jews in that region was started after britain captured palestine from the turks in the first world war ,long before Israel was actually created.
But the support in modern times for the creation of Israel by non-jewish western powers was certainly propelled by the holocaust , which proved the need for the creation of jews' own nation where the jews could lead a life of security , unencumbered by persecution.
Thus the support for Israel by western powers was due to causes unrelated to the jewish demand for their holy land.
Obviously , Israel should have been created in Germany ,since the mass murder of jews was perpetrated by germans.
It would have been adequate punishment for germany for murdering jews in the millions.
Certainly , the Israeli claim on Palestine is hollow ,since the arabs have been living on that land for nearly 1400 years.
Even at such an early date , the arabs were not the ones who destroyed the ancient kingdom of Israel , it had been destroyed centuries before they came.
Anyway the UN or other international organisations do not accept such ancient claims as the jewish one on Palestine ,if such claims are to be enforced then many other people or nations will come out with such claims.
For example the native americans ( formerly called by the politically incorrect term red indians ) can say that they have a claim on the entire continent of the americas ,and ask the caucasians and others who have settled there to go back !!
Of course ,the israelis were going into a volatile region inhabited by fanatics.
As the current situation proves ,these people were not going to sit idle while israelis went about nation-building......
Today ,with the constant threat of war and terrorism ,many israelis have developed a masada complex........that is a fear that one day ,they are doomed........
Constant threats of bomb blasts , a hair trigger alert , constant war on the frontiers ,constant threat of annihilation ........this is the situation every israeli has to constantly live with......
Organistions such as Hamas ,and their backers like Iran ,have vowed to annihilate Israel by nuclear weapons if necessary......
The arab-israeli problem is a major sore between relations between arabs , indeed all muslims , and the west.
One wonders if all this trouble would have been avoided if israel had been created in Germany........
The Germans could have been relocated in certain specific areas of Germany ,( as anyway the world war which had just been fought had resulted in mass dislocation of germans ) ,and Israel could have been created using a few German districts.
Ony 1/10 th of german land would have had to be used......
The rest would have been germany anyway...
