Give the guy some time.He has just got the post. Also in the Indian set up the Babus at MOD have a very big say.
Example, the tender for the Artillery Guns has been cancelled for the record 4th time. So who is responsible for this, definitely not the COAS.

its true he is army chief but he came just 1 month back.give him some time.
its not always been the case that present army chief agrees on previous chief decision.
He is Indian army chief not pak army chief, ,that in morning he saw something on TV, in afternoon he called the company and in evening pay $$$ or phoned papa saudis for funds and next day home delivery...
well, its a well known fact in the history of independent india that if there is delay its by the sarkari babus

arya...why so much delay???
because we have lazy leaders who only understand treatment like 1962 or kargil.....in kargil we could at least save our face but still that was not some smooth shot victory rather a very bloody voctory for us....
I think these delays are in our blood....our leaders search for well when we are extremely thirsty....during peace time they behave as if they will not have to meet any kind of sudden military challenge, so their attitude is always like "what is the hurry"? but they always forget one thing that "sweating during peace time saves bleeding during war".....
