Many rumors on twitter. One of the rumors says that Raman Singh himself was part of the maino gang. There has to be a massive internal sabotage for loss of this scale to happen.

Want the real story? Everyone hates Ajit Jogi! To prevent Karnataka repeat here on BJP side and Jogi becoming CM, people voted enmasse for INC.

Modi probably knew of the result from internal sources and wasn't exposed as such.

Conspiracy theory is Modi bumped off other PM candidate names that may turn up in post poll coalition fight. Shivraj S. Chauhan and Raman were 2. Raje was a goner so he spent most time there.

Bharka had propped up Shivraj for PM if he had won the 4th time. If you notice, she wasn't so happy with MAMA loosing MP as compared to BJP loosing in Bihar. Raga had already praised MAMA during one of the campaign sessions. The first attempt to oust MAMA and Raje was in 2015 during Vyapam scam, which was lead by Arnob(Modi awarded him recently, no?) That failed. With MAMA and Raje's exit, the last of the advani gang has bee kicked out. All just a theory as of now. We'll know soon how true it is.

@Levina Oh, ok....this makes no sense if his motive was to win the two states. Makes a lot more sense the other way round.

Marketing is all that matters doesn't matter who said what, how the viewer's percieve it is all that matters. Sir you of all people know it better than anyone. BJP has failed a massive in creating a decent narrative.
You nees to approcah SC with Neutral narrative not the full on "we will give u our ass just give us the votes.

Interpol Arrest Warrant Against Fugitive Mehul Choksi On CBI's Request

After Interpol arrest warrant, Mehul Choksi can't travel out of Antigua, where he was last traced

    https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/int...inessman-mehul-choksi-on-cbis-request-1961959

Global police body Interpol issued a red corner notice against fugitive offender Mehul Choksi, wanted in the 13,000-crore bank fraud case, on Thursday. The Interpol arrest warrant came on a CBI request. The CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) had filed a charge sheet against him in a Mumbai court.

Authorities in Antigua are now likely to trace him and inform India. Mr Choksi's movements will be tracked and he won't be allowed to leave the country. The 59-year-old had left India in January for medical treatment in the US.

Mr Choksi was last traced to Antigua, where he has been granted citizenship. He had taken the oath of allegiance as a citizen of Antigua on January 15 and just
days later, on January 29, the CBI filed a case and started investigating Mr Choksi and Nirav Modi.

Sources say, the Interpol had issued the notice against Mr Choksi about a fortnight ago after a decision was taken by the Commission for the Control of Interpol Files in a meeting in October.

Last month, Mr Choksi's lawyer told the investigating agencies that he is not in a position to record his statement. "If his condition gets better" Mr Choksi may return to India, the lawyer had said. In July, the Interpol had issued a similar notice against Nirav Modi, the main accused in the bank fraud cases.

Mr Choksi and his nephew, celebrity jeweller Nirav Modi, are being sought by multiple investigating agencies after it was revealed that the two extracted crores in loans from banks abroad on the basis of fake guarantees in the name of Punjab National Bank, India's second largest state-owned bank.

India is eyeing to bring back Mr Choksi from Antigua under the provision of a law of the island nation, which provides for extradition of a fugitive to a designated Commonwealth country, official sources said.

The government issued a gazette notification on August 3 to make the Antiguan law enforceable and bring back Mr Choksi. India and Antigua do not have a bilateral extradition pact.
