Judging by this rate of growth, and the enomous advantage China currently enjoy in her raw industrial power (in terms of heavy industry output, equal to 5X of soviet union at its peak, or nearly the combination of the entire rest world now), I would expect US will fall short in an arms race with us, so I think by 2020 China willl match the US military, and by 2025 or so we can do whatever we want then, our first job to do should be sink japland, and then take over some north terrority, then south China sea etc, then restore a tributal system. :cool2:

I would like to hear you guys honest opinions instead of the typical denial mode replies, since by now actually everyone and their dogs know China will dominate this world soon.:cool2:

Friend. As a foreigner on this forum I hope you understand that you are representing your country. I hope you understand that you are doing a disservice to your nation by starting such threads as it will only deteriorate the perception of Indians towards China . If you really think China will become a great military power in the future, share the news of Chinese military advances with us rather than starting such immature threads. It will also add to the quality of discussion on this forum.

Ok... Now that you've pleaded so much, I have to answer the question in the title of the thread! :cool2:

China will be a military superpower when it stops playing so cheap! Like creating bogie companies that look out for casinos on carriers! Ripping off foreign weapons and then selling it at junk rate claiming it to be their own. Stuff like that. So the answer to your question is that China will be considered a superpower when CCP stops acting like a cheap, third rate power. Only when China thinks it is a superpower, will others start thinking in that direction. By CCP/PLA's actions, they don't seem to be having a clue. With your ears on the ground, you can let us know when that could possibly occur!
