In Amsterdam we got fibre optics which gives me 20 MBPS. I pay 40 euros for landline and unlimited Interent 20 mbpsFibre-optic.

You don't need OFC for 54 Mbps. You can pass even 10 Gbps over copper wire. What OFC does is it chops down latencies, and makes it easy for the ISP to send upstream connection to a locality. It is still very much possible for the ISP to run his entire downstream infrastructure over copper.Not possible untill and unless you got fibre optics...............
