What Happened To The Assault Rifle Tender ??

to all DFI members as we all know the Indian Army was in the process of conducting trials of 5 foreign made assault rifles from the companies :- Colt, Beretta, IWI, CZ and Sig-Sauer.

However after a while after a while reports on the status of this tender stopped appearing in mainstream media.
Neither has any concrete information emerged on the status of Indian weapons such as the MSMC, Trichy assault rifle or the MCIWS.

So does any DFI member have any information on the fate of INSAS rifle in the Indian army ??
Is the weapon to be replaced in general use across all branches of the force or is it to be continued ??

Also what happened to the MSMC and Trichy assault rifle which the media reported where under trials ??

MCIWS is under trails, two prototype barrels have been completed and third is being developed.
