Okay so I am in a geeky mood today.

1. Jailbreaking my ipod touch
2. Using fipo to stream audio to my speakers using bluetooth
3. Connected wireless 802.11 n router to my wifi router to setup a wireless media server
4. Installing wifi dongle to my wdtv live player
5. Setting up experimental dlna on my blackberry.
6. Deciding on a new gaming console to buy
7. Deciding on a new laptop to buy
Hi Singh - hey this is a jolly good thread ( so ive "liked" it ) - way to go - hope more folks get aware and share

eerrr my only geeky are installing software and also "sensing" which "upgrades" NOT to install ( sometimes the upgrade is worse than the older )

also im looking for a dvd player - low tech item - i think i kinda like the asus add-on dvd player-recorder on the market for about 35 euros - yeah i know cheap stuff - i prefer the asus to the samsung which seems a bit flimsy to me

i dont think i need the new blu-ray stuff

No idea about faridabad, however, be warned Airtel is known to indulge in throttling/shaping internet.

I download all the stuff at night, then stream to my tv using ps3 or wdtv live in the evening.

Damn i am pissed
16 mbps is 5000 pm.
I will have to take 8 mpbs...
and Tikona is not available here.
Is 8 mbps good enough for streaming HD content without streaming?

that depends on the stream's bitrate. I think netflix streams 1080p at 4.8mbps.

If so,i should stick with BSNL

look up their fup (fair usage policy).
mtnl/bsnl are the only ones that don't have a fup on their unlimited plans.
