Bourbon. Straight up. I'm not a very big top-shelf nerd, but JD Sinatra is my catnip.

Bourbon is quite expensive but where you get them in Hyderabad.

Plenty of shops in Panjagutta - JH - Filmnagar stock bourbon. I get exclusives like Sinatra Special from HK airport. You get the best stuff from all over the world there.

Cathay Pacific direct flights between HKG and HYD are a funny scene. Every passenger has 3-4 DHS shopping bags of liquor, which they put on their laps throughout the 5 hour flight. You'll find newbies squabbling to brace onto their bottles each time you hit turbulence (usually over Kunming).

On HYD passport check, you can often hear immigration officers scold unruly Indians "taagupotu bhadkhow" (drunk bastard) for not standing upright infront of the camera, or making errors on their forms.
