Time to repeal Hindu Charitable Acts

All states in S India and some others have Hindu temples under government control. NCP-Congi state govt Maharashtra is planning a similar Act to take over temples, gurudwaras and Jain temples. Income from the temples is ostensibly used for maintenance and paying priests salaries but in fact the income runs to 1000's of crores in the case of many major temples and is a tidy source of funds for state govts. Note that mosques and churches are left to run their own affairs while Hindu temples are a milch cow for the govt.
