Since there have been so many threads baying for British blood with myself as the most thirsty, I thought I should try to list down some things I love that came from the UK. So here goes.

1. Cricket
2. Wodehouse
3. Dire Straits
4. Guy Ritchie
5. Monty Python

What do other haters like me like. And other non-haters too.

Enid Blyton and Sherlock Holmes. :yey:

And regarding cricket - I think we Indians can usurp that from the brits and claim it as our own in the present era.

Beatles, Biggles, Billy Bunter, Famous Five, Secret Seven, Noddy, Charles Dickens, GB Shaw, Shiek Pyare, Keats, Shelley, and oh so many!

I believe that Colin Cowdry who was the MCC Captain was actually Kalyan Chaudhuri, a Bengali!

Free health care for all at point of use.

Great law enforcement along with the court system to back it up.

A social safety net for those who need it .

Britian is nice place to be in the summer when the flowers are blossoming ,you can sit in a beer garden and drink a pint of cold cider
once you've finished playing 18 hole's of golf. Fantastic...

Indeed, you sit straight, have space for luggage. Nice collectors item too.

From nice collector item, i remembered my comment to a Gora taxi driver when i first landed in UK. when i first sat on taxi like that, i made a comment to a gora taxi driver. i said" I think British govt has changed its policy, they are putting new engine in old chassis" lolllllll he laughed too...

Same thing with our much beloved Hindustan Ambassador. Old British design, modern Japanese ISUZU engine. Sadly, the Birlas have not kept up with the pace of development. It could actually beat many contemporary cars, especially with that comfortable back seat.
