How could anyone survive when they levelled the place with JDAMs?
The Delta force commandos called out the occupants resulting in several children and adults leaving the compound. Al Baghdadi and 3 of his children however remained inside. Delta force commandos led by their dogs chased and cornered Al Baghdadi in a tunnel in the house were he detonated his suicide belt killing him and his three children.

It was after the raid was completed that the USAF leveled the compound.

Interestingly, The province of Idlib is under Russian Air Force control. How did the USAF able to penetrate it into Al Baghdadi's compound?

It was only a mile into Syria, they went over Turkish airspace. There was not much of anything for Russia to do about it, they were warned.

The Syrian military photographed an American military convoy leaving Syria with equipment and machinery from abandoned bases. In the first photo, a group of soldiers from the nearest checkpoint went out to conduct the Americans and wish them a “happy” journey.

WASHINGTON — Russia is intensifying a pressure campaign on U.S. military forces in northeastern Syria following the American withdrawal from much of that area ahead of a Turkish cross-border offensive last fall, American military and diplomatic officials say.

Russian military personnel have increasingly had run-ins with U.S. troops on highways in the region, breaking agreements between the two countries to steer clear of each other. Russian helicopters are flying closer to American troops. And on Wednesday, a U.S.-led convoy returned fire after it came under attack near a checkpoint manned by forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad of Syria, who are backed by Russia.

American officials say these actions by Russian personnel and their Syrian allies are devised to present a constant set of challenges, probes and encroachments to slowly create new facts on the ground and make the U.S. military presence there more tenuous. About 500 American troops remain deployed in Syria with a mission to protect oil fields and help fight remnants of the Islamic State.

Putin wants a war.
Rather, by such a maneuver, he wants to be given control over the ex-republics of the USSR. The cowardly Europe already agrees.

Supported by Russian warplanes and special forces, the Syrian Armed Forces have been gaining ground in the Idlib and Aleppo provinces. Two separate attacks carried out by the Syrian military killed 13 Turkish military personnel over the last two weeks, sparking outrage with Ankara, Al Jazeera reported.

"We are making our final warnings," Erdogan continued. "We did not reach the desired results in our talks [with Russia]. The talks will continue, but it is true that we are far from meeting our demands at the table."

Erdogan is one crazy SOB. He cannot tell his mouth from his anus. He and Trump are perfect for each other.

Syria, Russia, Iran and even Saudis do not want Turkey in Syria. What do you think is US' stand on Turkish presence in Syria?

This is strategic calculation. US certainly does not like Erdogan but it wants Turkey inside NATO camp. So it must put up with Erdogan's crazy maneuvers even to the point of sacrificing some interests of its Kurdish allies.

The US would have preferred to police Northern Syris with the Kurds without Turkey. It would have been a more stable arrangement as Russia would not dare support Syrian push into US held territory. But when idi0t Trump gave in to crazy Erdogan's crazy idea to have his own buffer terrotory in Northern Syria all careful calculations by US military planners went out of the window. Now the Americans must salvage as much of its strategic interest as they can.

The irony of course is Turkey is now running back to Uncle for help against Syrian and Russian onslaught. In particular it wants US Patriot coverage in Northern Syria.

Oh what a f#cking mess for Sultan Erdogan! Turkey went on to destroy its relation with NATO with a stupid S-400 buy and lost its F-35s on the process (a good thing for World peace if you ask me), now it still needs Patriots and cannot use S-400. Hah! Karma!
