The new Great Game in Central Asia- as cogently explained- by Najam Sethi

We often have a myopic understanding of the Great Game- the geopolitical machinations and maneuverings of the great powers and middle powers in Central Asia for strategic supremacy- and I thought this video was a good, broad, if yet simple, understanding of it.

Najam Sethi once again proves to be a prescient conversationalist with a good understanding of the national and international dynamics involved.

Discussion welcomed on the New Great Game and ways to augment India's strategy in it.

India first needs to take care of its internal issues and then immediate neighbourhood before going on to Central Asia,

India will always have internal issues to take care of. Just as every other country in the neighborhood has and still engages in the Great Game for strategic interest.

There is simply far too much at stake.

@offtopic,

This seems to have been put in the wrong forum. I'd appreciate it if a mod or admin could move it to the International Geopolitics section where it belongs.

And we should build good roads everywhere before going for space missions, right? And we should make sure that every single village has 24/7 electricity before having a nuclear program, right?

That is what -------- say. As Rage says, every country has internal issues, will always have them. There is far too much at stake here w.r.t. the future of the nation.

You did not understand my post.

Not talking about social issues. But internal security issues.
