BTW there is nothing called as 'Indian values' either Hindu or Dharmic values. :)

Terrorists with no religion by shouting allaha-ho-akbar just killed 17 and counting.
Punishing the murderers is OK. Perpetrators of such bomb blasts should not be glorified.

Yes, they do know the difference but there aren't a lot of Pakis here, lot of Indians in IT (Brussels) and diamonds (Antwerp)
And wherever there are Pakis, they claim to be Indians. They are ashamed to be identified as Pakis, given the reputation that their country has. When I was living in phoren, a friend of mine said that he had another friend from 'India' so, out of curiosity, I asked "from where?", my friend asked his friend and got back to me with "Lahore". I'm like, holy shit, when did India annex Lahore!

These Pakis take advantage of the fact that phoreners don't understand the history and geography of this part of the world and masquerade as Indians everywhere they go to parasite on the goodwill that our community has earned over the years. I looked it up on various forums and seems like this was not a one off incident, but a widespread phenomenon.

They do not their own history and you are expecting them to know ours .For the majority in west ,political correctness and celebrities are all that matters.

But if these 'Paki Indians' indulge in bad behavior, then our diaspora has to pay the price for it.

I think EU should let in more immigrants, give them social security , and make sure there are no repercussions on the general muslims there. As evidently anti muslim prejudices have been rising in recent months, which is what the jihadists want and it only makes them stronger.

Go through this 2 month old article . This is what we are advocated in the face of terror attack.

http://www.bloombergview.com/articl...-pathankot-attack-derail-india-pakistan-talks

Last weekend's attack by Pakistani militants on an Indian air base should hardly have come as a surprise. From the moment last month when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi unexpectedly stopped in Lahore, Pakistan, to meet with his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif, the only question has been when radicals would try to undermine the budding rapprochement. Incipient pledges of goodwill between Indian and Pakistani leaders have almost always been followed by terrorist attacks. And these, in turn, inevitably spark calls to halt diplomatic progress.

So far, though, Indian officials have wisely held to their pledge not to be provoked by the "saboteurs." Calling off the high-level talks scheduled to begin next week would only give the militants what they want. And while fast-growing India can more easily tolerate the stalemate than Pakistan can, continued tensions on the subcontinent are enormously counterproductive. They drain attention and resources at a time when India is hoping to build its strategic influence in the Indian Ocean and beyond. They exacerbate anti-Muslim prejudices, which have been rising in recent months. And they strain ties with the U.S., which wants an end to the jockeying between the South Asian rivals, not least because it undermines stability in neighboring Afghanistan.

It's equally important to remember that the air base attack, though it killed seven Indian soldiers and six militants, doesn't change the bigger picture. Both Modi and Sharif have always known that the Pakistani army, which has sponsored anti-India militant groups, will be the biggest roadblock to any peace deal. Presumably, however, the generals wouldn't have even let the talks be scheduled unless they were at least curious about where they might lead. While Pakistan should do more to rein in its onetime proxies, India can strengthen its own hand by continuing to engage with Sharif and others who favor improved ties.

That means not just beginning the new round of talks but ensuring that they quickly gain momentum. There's plenty of low-hanging fruit for the two sides to start with: They can increase the number of visas and people-to-people exchanges between the countries, lower remaining trade barriers, improve cross-border logistics and untangle red tape. An agreement to allow transit trade between Afghanistan and India, via Pakistan, would benefit all three countries; expanding bilateral trade -- currently only $3 billion a year -- would foster Indian and Pakistani business lobbies that are more interested in peace than continued conflict. Meanwhile, setting a full schedule of future talks should help quiet both Indian and Pakistani skeptics who fear that their side may give up too much too soon, before intractable issues such as the disputed Kashmir region even reach the table.

Ultimately, Pakistan needs to renounce its ties to terrorist groups, and both India and the U.S. should continue to demand that it do so. In the meantime, India could do much more to strengthen its internal defenses and intelligence-gathering, so that future attacks can be prevented. If talks move forward, many are sure to be attempted.

In the wake of Tuesday’s deadly bombing that killed at least 34 people, Brussels officials may regret an advertisement two months ago ridiculing the idea the city was a center of Islamic radicalism. VisitBrussels, the city’s tourism department, crafted the # CallBrussels campaign in an effort to disassociate the city with Islamic terror after residents were linked to the November, 2015, Paris attacks and other extremist plots. As part of the campaign, VisitBrussels set up telephones across the city and invited people to call them in order to speak with Brussels passersby. It then used these calls to create a video touting Brussels as a peaceful, welcoming city.
“After Brussels was linked to terror plots, the international media portrayed the city as a warzone,” the ad said. “We wanted to change this perception with an honest answer.” The ad then shows interactions with (supposedly) random Belgians, who assure callers the city is completely safe. After Tuesday’s bombings killed several dozen Brusseleirs, some people on Twitter quickly brought up the ad for ridicule.

All these Hollywood celebs on the UN envoys are doing their government's bidding under the guise of UN charter.

Just oversmart liberals digging their own graves by living in denial. Who paid the price? Did the rich 'intellectuals' who vehemently endorsed the opening up of borders die in the attacks? Nope. It's the commoners who have to pay the price for the stupidity of these 'intellectuals' who might already be busy with their next pseudo-intellectual media project or doing some solidarity march drama with candles and flowers. People should learn to use their own head and stand for their interests, instead of allowing a handful of 'intellectual' elites with control over the media to mess things up by blindly following their advice.

Same goes for all the Shobha Dey`s and Sagarika Ghose`s of India who write preachy articles about their 'idea if India' and mislead the commoners by misrepresenting their interests.

Belgium has got what it deserved. It has not forced muslims immigrants to assimilate and it has tried to please them instead and encourages muslims to be intellectually dishonest with themselves like all other western European countries.

The terrorist committed suicide, aur kitni goli maroge bhai, voh toh pehle hi allah ko pyara ho chuka hai:pound:.

Btw, why stop Paki migration to EU? a destabilized (read : busy) Europe is in India's interest. History is testimony to the fact that whenever European nations are self-sufficient and have free time on their hands then they indulge in extra-curricular activities like sponsoring anti-India forces like naxals, missionaries, NGOs, presstitutes and what not. We need to keep them busy with something so that we get some breathing room to continue with nation building.

BD is the most densely populous state on the planet.
It's brimming with people and other nasty things. Trouble is at the gates, the BSF better get its act together.
With Didi and Gandhis at large the BSF have got their work cut out!
We can anticipate muslim majority West Bengal & Assam within ten years!

Muslims have plenty of political agency.

Individual Muslims can be quite pushy in raising hell and making demands on their behalf vis-a-vis schools, hospitals, the police, welfare agencies, universities and numerous other institutions.
They have formed a plethora of organizations that lobby on their behalf. And these organizations are entirely run and controlled by themselves. They don’t need liberal Do-gooders to do this job for them.
Jihadists and terrorists have managed to draw the West into wars of their choosing and that will surely end in western defeat and victory for them.
Terrorists instilled fear and widespread self-censorship.
Even muslim street crime is political. It is directed at natives and prompts politicians to privilege moderate muslim community leaders and organizations, hoping that they could solve the problem.

They haven’t started their own political parties yet, but why would they, at this stage? They haven’t gotten far on the Israel issue, but even there they gained some leeway in center-left parties, thanks to their reliable block voting.

The “flood gate” metaphor is incorrect. It is a form of denial and self-deception. Immigrants are not water. They are people with personal and collective motives. Somebody opened the town gates, not some flood gate. Foreigners saw an open door and took advantage of it. They intend to stay and work hard to make sure those gates stay open.

on Houellebecq’s thesis
I haven’t read the book yet, but his thesis that muslim patriarchy is modernity-proof is questionable. Fertility rates have been dropping rapidly in the muslim world. There is rapid urbanization, the spread of higher education, mass media, including porn, etc. Patriarchy could potentially exacerbate the problem:

The number of unmarried Saudi women over 30 reached 33.45 percent in the last 10 years, or 1.52 million of the total population of 4.57 million women, local media reported on Sunday.
Alarm over rising rate of Saudi spinsterhood
Basically, muslim fathers, just like successful western women, have impossibly high standards for their daughters. They don’t give their daughters away until it is to late. And single motherhood is not an option. Cousin marriage will run into trouble if they run out of cousins. Muslims practice FBD marriage (father’s brother’s daugher), so you need two brothers with children of the opposite sex to make this happen.
