You dont expect rats to turn Lions on getting hold of power. No matter where they are, cowardice follows them.

The problem with several senior bureaucrats is that they think of US raid on Abbotabad when thinking of killing Hafiz Saied. When in reality they shoul look at much more practical and simple solutions, ala assasination by R&AW's own SG. Quick work without the aftermath. And no proof

Bombing terrorist camps are pretty useless. They hardly hold 40-100 members in one camp. And there are as many as 50 camps. And worst of all, they can simply change their location on being found out.
Bombing terror camps sends a sure shot signal that we will not take nonsense anymore. Even if it meant killing 10 tangos and one camp of the 300-350 camps that exist (as per a general I heard yesterday).

There seems to be no intent in imposing penalties on Pak which makes it bold in doing whatever it has been doing.

Do the Israelis really ask suck questions about Hamas or Hezbollah moving camps etc? While Pak is not Lebanon and with nuke weapons, if we don't call their bluff we will keep bleeding. Over 5000 soldiers have been killed to tangos. More than the combined losses of all four wars. We might as well have a fight till the finish and make an attempt to be secure forever.

Again I say here the onus of escalation is on Pak not on India. India has to bomb terror camps.

Bloody Dramebaaz Twitter Omar couldn't even spare 15min to pay respect to the shaheed jawans!

Instead issued diktat for CRPF to disarm in JK and handle situations with only lathi & riot gear!

This kind of pussyfooting should not be tolerated. Omar Abdullah should be given a symbolic sentence for asserting the Constitution's supremacy. And while the GoI is at it, get a few PDP and other leaders beaten up ;)

CRPF jawaans quoted that 5 of them were killed yesterday as JK police forced them not to carry firearms and were only carrying lathis and cane riot shields.

Suspected Pak militant arrested for attack on CRPF camp in Srinagar: Sources

Srinagar: In a major breakthrough in yesterday's fidayeen or suicide attack on the camp of Central Reserve Police Force or CRPF in Srinagar, police have arrested a suspected Pakistani militant, sources said.

The militant, identified as Talha, was arrested from Chattabal area of Srinagar, said sources. He is reportedly a resident of Multan in Pakistan.

Two militants were killed in the attack while two others had escaped. The arrested militant was among those who had escaped, sources said. The police said they are looking for the other militant suspected to be hiding in the area.

The militants, carrying what looked like cricket bags, entered the CRPF camp in Bemina area of Srinagar on Wednesday and walked onto a large open field where off-duty officers and children were playing a cricket match. They opened fire without cover and lobbed grenades at the officers.

Five CRPF jawans were killed and four civilians were injured in the suicide attack, the first in Srinagar after a gap of three years. Eight other jawans sustained injuries - one of them is in critical condition.

Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said in Parliament that the two terrorists killed in Wednesday's attack appeared to be of Pakistani origin, and the diaries recovered from them contained Pakistani phone numbers. Pakistan has denied any link to the ambush.

Mr Shinde said about 50 CRPF personnel of the 73 Battalion were present at the school for further deployment when the incident occurred.

The Home Minister said responsibility for the attack had been taken by an agent of Hizbul Mujahideen but the authenticity of the claim was yet to be ascertained.

It is time to get realistic about Pakistan and its intent and not be governed by the emotional tie baggage with Pakistan some folks have, who are now in the coterie of powers that be,

How long should we remain like passive goats taken to slaughter?

Time to ignore Pakistan all together as if they do not even exist.

Treat them like Tankhaiyas.

And encourage the Balochis, Shias and the Northern Area Shias to find their identity.

Encourage the imploding of Pakistan.

And if Pakistan gets chirpy, give them a hiding of their lives.

In J&K, guns cannot do all the talking: Shinde

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Thursday said that "guns cannot do all the talking" in Jammu and Kashmir. Shinde's statement after he was cornered by the opposition on the issue of unarmed CRPF personnel at the time of Wednesday's terror attack.

"In Jammu and Kashmir, we do not want guns to do the talking. So all paramilitary personnel were not armed at the time," said Shinde.

The issue was raised in the parliament after a group of CRPF personnel told the media that they were attacked because they don't have weapons to fight terrorists. "We were unarmed. We cannot fight terrorists with lathis," said a CRPF Jawan on Wednesday after the terror attack.

"They deploy us without arms, our men died only because of that," alleged the CRPF men.

Is there no end of stupidity? Why should not the ministers/bureaucrats be accountable when their most insane logic and decision claims lives of others?

And most importantly, what sin have the Indians have committed to be saddled with this guy at top of security?!!!!!!

The bastards came in from Uri Sector.

The same sector which is highly volatile and with frequent ceasefire violation by Pakistan army.

What our forces are doing ?

Has repeated Pakistan army firing and other offences made our forces chicken out to even petrol and guard these areas ?

After beheading of our soldiers the way they Pakistan behaved, showed their confidence, bullying, literally exposing our defense at work on their terms, not only that they showed how much competent and aggressive (if we are) they think we are. Oh well we are a banana republic and forces are part of it.

Where is Indian COAS who was stammering that InA will avenge that tactical, tactical, tactical, tactical, he repeated so many times, aggression by Pakistan on its our terms place and timing. They have crossed your borders and killed your forces on their own terms before you could have done anything Mr. COAS. Its already Pak -2, Inida- 0.

Arrested Pakistani militants reveal Srinagar CRPF camp attack plot | NDTV.com

Central security agencies, on the contrary, feel that Wednesday's fidayeen attack, and the twin bomb blasts in Hyderabad are connected to the withdrawal of US-led International Security Assistance Force from Afghanistan in 2014. The ISI-Taliban combination, analyst feel, would gain an upper hand in Afghanistan freeing much of assets and terror infrastructure to refocus on J&K and heartland India.
And when Pakistan sponsored armed insurgency will spike in J&K, we as usual will be working hard fighting them within our lands and enduring casualties like before.

A nation who knows open and said facts even boasted by adversaries by themselves, knows source of the attacks but does nothing is a coward of worst kind.

Srinagar CRPF attack: Govt employee arrested

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police have detained Parandeep Singh, a daily wager with the public health department who allegedly provided shelter to militants who carried out the suicide attack on Wednesday, killing five CRPF men.

Police were looking for Parandeep Singh after his name figured in the interrogation of Bashir Ahmed alias Haroon Bhai — a resident of Uri in North Kashmir who worked for LeT.

Singh, who was on run after the attack on Wednesday, was detained early this morning, official sources said.

Besides Bashir, 22-year-old Zubair alias Abu Tallah alias Riaz, was held from Chattabal area in the outskirts of the city in connection with the attack. The arrest was made while he was talking to his handlers through the SIM card provided by Bashir, a local, the sources said

Zubair told the interrogators that he had dropped the two suicide attackers along with Bashir, who earlier carried out a recce of the force's camp at a school playground. It was Bashir's interrogation that led to the arrest of Zubair.

According to the investigators, a group of five Lashker terrorists had crossed over in Uri earlier this month out of which two had returned while others proceeded towards Srinagar.

Bashir, who stays in Srinagar, arranged the travel of the three to Tangmarg area of north Kashmir where all of them met on March 11 at Singh's house.

He later shifted them to Tankipora area in the city from where they were escorted to the CRPF camp in Bemina area on March 13 to carry out the suicide attack.

Bashir shifted the third militant to Chhatabal area where he was put up in an already created hideout.

The two terrorists, disguised as cricketers, had stormed a CRPF camp in the first major attack in the city in three years. They were killed by the security personnel.
