Pittsburgh and Ruhr once were the capital of world steel industy. but nowdays where is the capital of world steel industry ?

The answer is Tangshan city, China.

Tangshan City is famous for the disastrous earthquake in 1976,which made 240K people dead.

However, the city soon was restored and become the capital of world steel industry...

Last year, the city with only 7.5 M population produced more steel than the whole EU did.

Qian'an County,one of its 14 subdistricts, produced more steel than German did last year.
