The new uniforms for Taiwanese security forces look like something torn from the page of the Necronomicon. These bulletproof facemasks would make the perfect Halloween costume. Or villain for the next Friday the 13th movie. So why the terrifying nightmare uniforms? Well, that's because China is right next door and has vowed to bring the island under mainland rule, by force if necessary. So maybe the Republic of China is trying its hand at psychological warfare. Or preparing to make dystopian future scifi/horror movies.
