well if india give order of su57 the russia can make this planes in india with HAL as su 30 program took place . Govt need to increase defence budget .

As it sits today it is just a test aircraft with the internals of a Su-35. Until the next gen engines, radar and weapons to fit in internal bays are ready there is no point serial producing a watered-down aircraft. They will just buy more Su-35 which is much cheaper. France has the opposite dilemma, we have the avionics and weapons but no tested airframe. It is interesting how backwards development can be.

Yesterday Russian MoD had signed 46 contracts with 27 enterprises worth more than a trillion rouble.

Some of the major deals are 76 Su-57 from Knaaz
98 Mi-28NM from Rosvertol
2 Project 677 Lada from Admiralty
2 Project 885M from Sevmash

The Su-57 deal is said to be worth 160-170 billion roubles. This deal takes the total no of Su57 ordered to 78 besides the 10 prototypes.

There's a lot to the Su-57 than what meets the eye. It is not another test aircraft with the internals of a Su-35.

This deal clears the road for the Indian airforce to order an Indianised Su-57 and license produce them here at Ozhar. The day isn't far when we sign a contract for a double digit no of Su-57MKI. We will surely be acquiring them in batches. And eventually the no will reach 200.

In India they made it clear that the question of the possible acquisition of the newest Su-57 fighter aircraft from Russia has not been removed from the agenda.
