This is a private forum and not Facebook, Anyone want to rant go there and do it, As long as you are here you will be under moderation so does other members ..

Your ban came after warning which was issued as your reply lack quality on subject, your justification of using words against a organization is lame so does your previous commentary which was nothing but a flame-bait ..

Getting personal with moderator will only get you more trouble ..
@Kunal Biswas, I suggest hand out a temp ban at the first instance of trolling or publicly questioning the decision of the MOD. These bans help members review the forum rules. Leniency on our part encourages petulant behaviour on the part of participants.

@DingDong, I and an Admin have witnessed your language with another member. Due to your seniority, we were lenient with you. No action was taken at that time. Sorry for mentioning this in public, but that is because you are publicly trying to play one MOD against another. Not gonna work. Please review the forum rules.

Likewise, people (particularly if they are Posing) must refrain from using words like "You Civilians" or "Outsiders" to dissuade the members from expressing their opinion about the military.

The original comment got deleted just because it irritated a Moderator whom lot of members on this forum address as "Sir" :pound:and expects everybody to say "Yes Sir". You can ask him questions, but never counter him.

Military is not beyond criticism.

One of the reasons why the Indian General public will never completely trust the military is because of it's role pre-1947, Indian Army was responsible for the Jalianwala Massacre. Indian Army soldiers opened fire at the Indian civilians protesting against foreign occupiers.

The behavior of the military changed because it's masters changed (from British to Indian). Overnight loyalty of the whole Indian Army, including it's chief changed.

Indian Army deserves some credit here that it serves like a dog, never questions it's master, and must not question it's master in future either, which is the Civil Government.
bro, Indian union exists because of loyalty of IA. British empire ruled as long as BIA was loyal to them. The moment revolt started in BIA, Britain promptly left the country. Remember,if there had been no revolt in BIA, RBIN, Indian freedom would have been delayed. India is democratic because IA firmly believes in democracy. If any doubt ask any retired or serving officer, if they would like too see military rule in India. And watch the horror on their faces. Now about your dog master analogy, its crude analogy. And can be extended to any employer employee relationship. However in Indian tradition, warriors are respected and even worshiped and its uncouth to compare them with dogs. Dogs rarely disagree, IA disagreed with govt wherever it felt the decision wont serve country's interests in pc way.

Please fix this forum to use https. Currently only http cleartext works for me in Chrome on a Mac and I'm not comfortable with that.

Hello everyone,
Few days back ,I posted my comments on NAL saras thread and called it shittiest plane ever designed which is not very far from reality. But just because Mr Moderator ,who got the medallion "Member of Year 2011 " revoked my privelege in that thread.IF he thinks that NAL saras is a good plane, tell me how it is ( I can give you 10 reasons why its the bad choice to start with a Puller prop config)?
Just because we all are Indians doesn't mean we can't be a critic about its policy or about its defence articles made by DRDO or any other defence Lab.
If you can't take the criticism positively, then why not hang a board that only appreciate the DRDO or any other defence Lab.
My worry is ,We are also acting like PDF ,where those pakis mods run the show as per their rule.
PS- Am sure ,given a chance ,Mr Moderator himself avoid to travel in this plane.

Same here mate. Apparently criticizing OFB is a big no-no. So my "posting privileges" on the INSAS thread have been revoked for the past couple of months.

It's my way or the highway.

But this is fact that DRDO has failed to deliver in the past. I would say that truth is somewhere in the middle.

For every failed fuck up and delayed DRDO projects, we also have Swati, range of surveillance equipment and Radars, guided ammunition, Tanks, Ballistic Missile defense etc etc

Its the best "practical/natural" thing next to peeing on roadside.
Its best thing ever happened to mankind.
Its the most natural weapon to fight after hand to hand kushti in battlefield.

The mods really need to learn to take feedback and handle things professionally, especially @Kunal Biswas (there, i said it).

Not sure if there is any rating/feedback/redressal system in place here. if it is, it needs more visibility. request other members to mark/inform the other moderators about the same.

i have had a tiff with him earlier too, following which he edited my comments. i just chose not to make a big deal out of it because i visit this site only occassionally, and i like this place for the pics and the info, and it was not worth risking a ban just to satisfy a guy's ego. but yeah, let's not make this a PDF too

If you really think your privilege was revoked for no reason, try contacting other mods or admin over DM.

This is not terrorist forum where bunch of Indians put off a cock fight for Pakistanis to bet on ..

DFI is meant for technical discussion and not pointless whinging.

If you want to make forum posts without an iota of research or basic googling or fact verification, you know which forum to head to.
If you don't keep up with the latest developments it is better to ask, it's ok to ask, someone will answer you.
If you want to retort to a post with a smart alec comment, this forum is not for you.

There is a massive number of complaints that have flooded the moderators’ queue.

Repeat offenders are better banned. If temporary bans do not work, permanent bans would be considered.

A reminder yet again—please read the forum rules. If you do not know where the forum rules are, I suggest invest some time and you will find it very easily. You should be posting only after you have read and agreed to the forum rules.

This link and this link have been posted by me many times. I cannot keep spoon-feeding everyone.
