Sudan, India seek ways to re-activate technology agreements

Khartoum: India and Sudan are seeking ways to reactivate their bilateral agreements and protocols signed in the field of modern technology.

Sudanese Minister of Science and Technology Prof Ibrahim Ahmed Omer in his talks with the Indian Ambassador to Sudan Deepak Vohra on Tuesday also sought the help of Indian expertise for implementation of its satellite project.


The two discussed reactivating the implementation of agreements and protocols in the field of modern technology.

They called for speeding up of work for manufacturing solar cells in Sudan and reviewed the training of Sudanese cadres in India as part of the Indian loan.

The minister re-affirmed his nations readiness with regard to the African telecommunication network project in the the field of health, higher education and the communication network for the African heads of states.
