The World Affairs Council of America has named Stephen P Cohen as one of America's 500 most influential people in foreign policy. He tells Kunal Majumder why the stakeholders in India and Pakistan don't want the conflict to end India has an inferiority complex vis a vis Pakistan: Stephen P Cohen
Re: Stephen P Cohen :India Has An Inferiority Complex Vis A Vis Pakist He's got it the other way around.
Re: Stephen P Cohen :India Has An Inferiority Complex Vis A Vis Pakist Did he try to say Pakis have Superiority Complex and thats where the problem lies? btw who is this IDIOT is looking for some cheap fame? Rakhi Sawant?
Re: Stephen P Cohen : India Has An Inferiority Complex Vis A Vis Pakis Such an idiotic piece of reporting. They took his statement completely out of context. Not to mention that the interviewer is annoying as hell. Cohen made some good points though.
Re: Stephen P Cohen : India Has An Inferiority Complex Vis A Vis Pakis People in India, Need to stop feeding trolls at the other side of the border .. It brings unnecessary attention, Comparing India with Pakistan in every aspect is like comparing oranges with Apples .. Needless to say, Some of our activities bring negative light on ourselves from International community .. ======================== We are making Aircraft carriers to Nuclear submarines, Have largest IT workers in the world, We are no longer in league of regional powers but World powers.. Our people should be aware of their place ..
Re: Stephen P Cohen : India Has An Inferiority Complex Vis A Vis Pakis Thanks for this. I had read Cohens pieces, he is a smart guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
Re: Stephen P Cohen: India Has An Inferiority Complex via-Ã -vis Pakist i listened to the video ( albeit on double - speed to save time ) i felt, Cohen was totally rational and fair-minded , on the level towards india what he said was that the pak generals had always told him that india, being the big brother, should give concessions to pak being the younger brother but india felt that with pak -china and to some extent usa, as well, joining together going against her , she felt she couldnt give pak the big brother concessions that it wanted from her in that sense, he said, there was a feeling of insecurity, an inferiority complex everyone may have their opinion. personally , i felt that , taken in context, Cohen did not engage in any psychological sarcasm or putting down to me, he was giving a fair and level-headed opinion
Re: Stephen P Cohen: India Has An Inferiority Complex via-Ã -vis Pakist on reflection though , i do recall Cohen had said that most indian muslims would rather be with india than pakistan, or separate ! now i dont like that separate word, as used by him so although in the past i had been mostly pro usa easily, if i keep hearing more of that , i might gradually change. really our dealings with the usa or indeed any nation should be on a piecemeal basis never assume we have pally-wally friends who will be there in time of need what we need is know-how - tech transfer and, we can well afford to pay for that we dont need their BS joint exercises either we pay = we get TOT otherwise, buzz-off anything less than immediate TOT, thanks but no-thanks not necessary for pie-in -the sky-bye and bye type of promises of TOT because they can give all sorts of tricks an excuses we would prefer to try someone else
Re: Stephen P Cohen: India Has An Inferiority Complex via-Ã -vis Pakist Stephen Cohen has a history Stephen Cohen has ALWAYS been a Paki sympathiser He claims to be a South Asian Expert and analyst but he has been in Pakistan's camp from the beginning Basically he wanted " importance " and " respect " from the Indian Govt And he has NEVER got it Infact his latest book on India Pakistan relations FLOPPED Badly and was TRASHED by the Indian Media " Shooting for a Century " The India-Pakistan Conundrum: Shooting for a Century | Brookings Institution
Re: Stephen P Cohen: India Has An Inferiority Complex via-Ã -vis Pakist Stephen Cohen 's credibility is AS FOLLOWS He FAVOURS a Nuclear Deal for Pakistan He supports Pakistan on Kashmir He claims Pakistan has Genuine grievances like Kashmir and 1971 and Pakistan BEHAVIOUR towards India is understandable because it is a WOUNDED State Briefly he was critical towards the Pakis for their double crossing USA in Aghanistan and hiding OBL but even that he has blamed it on Pakistan's insecurities vis a vis India
Re: Stephen P Cohen: India Has An Inferiority Complex via-Ã -vis Pakist Ok Mr Cohen ,you had your 20 minutes of notoriety calling India, names ? now vanish, evaporate, skedaddle !! In fact it is the Americans who are turning tail in Afghanistan, Should we talk of your wasted soldiers in Vietnam. All your pentagonese jargon like "troops surge" and aerial platforms have not brought peace in Afghanistan! You surely do have an inferiority complex vis-a -vis the afghan, good Taliban / bad Taliban some George w Bush Joke(r)
Re: Stephen P Cohen: India Has An Inferiority Complex via-Ã -vis Pakist Everyone likes to wash their hands in the Indo-Pak laundry. Act like a pundit, write some books, do some talk shows, get some publicity and then mint some... Who cares what the west thinks these days anyway.
Re: Stephen P Cohen: India Has An Inferiority Complex via-Ã -vis Pakist It is very important what we think of ourselves, That said .. ' A man`s worth can be only known from his own eyes, The world rise and fall and view changes accordingly '
Re: Stephen P Cohen: India Has An Inferiority Complex via-Ã -vis Pakist Posted with such heading by tehlaka TV. These mischief mongers want to troll their own country, I wonder what kind of sick mindset these jholaphaaps have.
Re: Stephen P Cohen: India Has An Inferiority Complex via-Ã -vis Pakist Has Cohen lost it?! We and inferiority complex with Pakistan? On what grounds? Being a failed state? Being a sectarian war zone? Surrendering one's culture to a alien desert cult in the name of 'conversion'? Having being screwed in every war fought? Having failed to control its own tribal territories in 66 years? Or hiding 36 dreaded terrorist organizations from Chechens to IMU to Bali bombers?
