Actually that was surprising. In last term, when there were nearly 42 MPs of Congress from AP only 2-3 ministerial posts were given. And now with only 30MPs, they are getting all in all 8-9 ministerial positions. It indicates that Congress is losing badly in AP. And two ministerial berths from Telangana must be to control Telangana MPs.

Minority Affairs Minister is a guy who has an FIR against him for misappropriating funds from a co-op bank meant for minorities and is accused in grabbing Wakf Board lands.

While some (including myself) may argue that this is yet another glaring example of sycophancy even if mired with charges of corruption being rewarded in the Congress , one cannot feel this to be a welcome relief after the long stint of gaffe prone Krishna, who did little else to justify his appointment, apart from travelling far and wide (87+ countries in total).

Khurshid is obviously one the most suave verbarian, among the congress ranks , and his charm with words belies a shrewd brain behind those glasses
